OR Consider AAP Nitrofuracin Green Synergistic Blend (an excellent choice with new fish, fin infections, or ammonia burn) OR Doxycyline (an alternative for Columnaris and fish fin/tail infections, albeit less effective). AAP PolyGuard is another alternative (although best for fungus).
These can and do work if water parameters are what they should be and stressors are low (including Redox).
Dose: Open capsule and introduce powder directly into tank. Use 1 capsule to each 10 NET gallons of aquarium water. Treat every other day for 5 days (3 treatments are suggested) Repeat full treatment in 3 days if necessary.
Marine: Double dose and do not use in presence of invertebrates.
