UV Sterilizer, Power Head/ Internal Filter/ Pump; Installation/ Diagram

This picture (Diagram) is for instruction only. I always place the UV Sterilizer behind the Aquarium I just wanted a good view for explanation only.

This is just one way to attach a UV Sterilizer using a power head, for a canister filter or sump you would splice the UV Sterilizer in line (with a flow valve on the outlet if necessary for high flow canister filters or wet dry sump pumps)

[1] Add nipple (outlet) to Pump (power head) that best fits tubing

[2] Attach tubing (you may have to heat the tubing with a lighter to stretch over some pump nipples)

[3] Attach tubing to intake adapter

[4] Attach tubing fm intake adapter to UV Sterilizer

[5] Attach tubing from UV Sterilizer to Return Adapter

IF YOU HAVE A CUSTOM 15 WATT UV; you would not need the return adapter, rather I recommend simply hanging your unit on the back of the aquarium
